We wish to inform you of upcoming changes to your landline service. These adjustments are necessary due to rising operational costs and inflation since our last price revision seven years ago. To continue providing quality service, we have revised our pricing structure and added new benefits to enhance your experience.
New Pricing Structure which affects both residential and business customers
Residential
Calling Rate per Minute for Within Exchange Calls:
- Peak Period (6:00 am to 6:00 pm daily):
- Old: $0.80
- New: $2.23 (VAT exclusive)
- Off-Peak Period (6:00 pm to 6:00 am daily):
- Old: $0.40
- New: $2.23 (VAT exclusive)
- Monthly Rental Fee for 1-2 Lines:
- Old: $750
- New: $1,000 (VAT exclusive)
Enhanced Features
We are pleased to offer the following new benefits at no additional cost:
- 20 FREE MINUTES MONTHLY: Enjoy extra minutes to call any GTT landline.
- Call Control: Manage and control calls made to mobile and international numbers with a secure PIN. To set up this feature, contact our Customer Service department.
Upgrade Opportunities
Depending on your address, you may be eligible to upgrade to our Fibre+ Voice service, which offers bundled minutes and potentially lower monthly payments, or to our Fixed Wireless Voice services with even more savings. Residential Equipment Rental Charge
ALL Notices
Effective March 1, 2024, a nominal equipment rental of $400 (VAT lnc.) will be added to your Residential Fibre service bills.
Reason for the Charge:
The rental charge covers the initial delivery and setting up of Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) and Wi-Fi, together with any future upgrades and replacements of the CPE and Wi-Fi.
Benefits to you:
With the introduction of this monthly fee, all Residential Fibre customers will benefit from:
- Waived installation fee
- Reliable Voice & Wi-Fi access; and
- Free equipment upgrades and replacements, as the need arises.
Details:
- Rental charge: $400 (VAT Inc) per month.
- Itemized as "Equipment Rental” on your bill.
- Applies to all GTT Residential Fibre customers.
Impacts:
- Begins March 1, 2024 - Applied to all Residential Fibre bills.
- The first rental fee will appear on your March 2024 bill, which is generated and payable in April 2024.
- No pro-rated charge for March billing cycle.
- Automatic inclusion in monthly billing.
